The Pontiac Solstice GXP was introduced at the 2006 Los Angeles Motor Show and is one of the first cars to have the second generation of a GM Ecotec engine. It uses the Kappa platform.

The GXP is designed as a performance model under the Solstice series. It was also sold as the Sky under the Saturn brand in the USA, Opel GT in the mainland of Europe and as the Daewoo G2X in South Korea.

Editions

Yellow

The "Yellow" edition of the Solstice GXP was released on February 3rd, 2012. It comes pre-equipped with Amerikon Speedsystems street tuned parts.

Silver

The "Silver" edition was released on October 2nd, 2012, and was the In-Game Cash version of the Solstice GXP. It does not feature any parts.

Overall Performance

Achievable Classes

The Pontiac Solstice GXP has a stock top speed of 217 km/h (135 mph) which is average for Class D cars. It has a very strong acceleration and has a nitrous output which is among the strongest ones in Class C and D. Its handling is very good and responsive along with a sharp turning radius.            

The Solstice GXP can be a decent choice for Pursuit Outruns and Team Escapes, as it's small enough to maneuver through roadblocks, nimble enough to dodge Rhinos and cop cars, and fast enough to finish the route on time. But due to its light weight, it cannot endure collisions from cop vehicles such as Rhinos. But however, due to its quick acceleration the Solstice GXP can quickly regain its top speed from a collision.
