Honda Civic 2019 Max Speed
The coupe can now be had in Sport trim now too

While the Type R may be a bit over the top with its styling, the lesser versions of the latest Honda Civic are definitely exceptional in their compact-car mission. Now, Honda has revealed the 2019 Civic with new styling features for the coupe and sedan. As an added bonus the Sport trim can now be had on the Civic Coupe.
How Does The 2019 Honda Civic Differ from The Pre-Facelift Model?
Honda did not do much to change the appearance of the latest Civic, yet the 2019 model year car took some important styling novelties
Obviously, Honda did not do much to change the appearance of the latest Civic, yet the 2019 model year car took some important styling novelties. It seems that the 2019 Honda Civic looks more sophisticated than before. The Japanese achieved this by adding a black piano trim to the front, a new full-length front splitter and differently shaped air intakes. Add to these slight changes to the front headlights and more chrome than before, and the Civic becomes something more than just a perfectly suited teen mobile. It's dignified. Especially in its five-door trim. The coupe remains as flamboyant as before. Interestingly enough, this version did not get all the chrome the five-door got. After all, it is a sport-centric hatch.
What's the Deal with the Sport Trim?
The 2019 Civic Sport added a rear decklid spoiler to the sedan, new lower bumper visuals, and chrome exhaust outlets
Already available on the hatchback, the Sport trim finally landed on the Coupe and the Sedan. Taking into account that the Sport is only the second most expensive trim level (one above the LX), Honda did really nice by granting it with pieces such as 18-inch wheels (blacked out for the Civic), and updated infotainment with CarPlay and Android Auto support. Some wanted the volume knob back more than anything. They've got it. It is much the same story as in the CR-V. Remember, the volume control over the touchscreen was cumbersome, to say the least.
It is easier now.
Making the 2019 Honda Civic Sport somewhat different compared with the other Civic versions, Honda added a rear decklid spoiler to the sedan, new lower bumper visuals, and chrome exhaust outlets. Obviously, there aren't massive changes, but the Civic Sport most certainly looks a bit more complete with these additions compared with the entry-level Honda Civic LX. Instead of using a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, Honda prepared a 2.0-liter, naturally-aspirated unit that develops 158 horsepower. It will not make it extremely fast but coupled with the CVT with G-Shift control, or the six-speed manual, this 2.0-liter will be really efficient.
Honda Sensing as Standard Equipment
By the year 2022, Honda plans to equip all its cars with an advanced safety suite called the Honda Sensing
By the year 2022, Honda plans to equip all its cars with an advanced safety suite called the Honda Sensing. It is a set of technologies created to advance car safety to a whole new level by employing several solutions created to mitigate collisions or assist with basic driving functions. The 2019 Honda Civic received the Honda Sensing suite as standard. With it, all Civic cars gained "Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) with Forward Collision Warning; Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) incorporating Lane Departure Warning (LDW); Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS); and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)."
